Administrative Division

Administrative staff tasks

The Administrative Division in the College of Agriculture at the College of Agriculture/University of Karbala represents the link between the college and the university on the one hand, and between the college and other departments on the other hand. This department is concerned with following up on administrative orders and receiving official letters and private mail, in addition to following up on current administrative developments and conducting all administrative transactions related to professors and employees, such as transfer, placement, appointment, and so on.

The administrative division includes “individuals” and is concerned with keeping the files of the college’s members, including official books and everything related to them. It is also concerned with opening special records for promotions, transactions, annual records, thanks, punishments, transfers to and from the college, and regular and sick leaves. It is also concerned with archiving files on compact discs (CD) through an electronic archival program. Incoming: This includes receiving other official books and circulating them to other departments after the dean’s note on them.

This section also includes “document control” which is concerned with issuing official books from our college to the concerned authorities, as well as books issued by college departments, recording them in their own records, and storing them in the program designated for them. This division also includes the ‘Services Unit’, which includes following up on all the services the college needs, including organizing and cleaning the college’s facilities, departments, study halls, and so on.

Accounting Division
The Financial Affairs Division in the College of Agriculture constitutes one of the most important joints in this college, as it is concerned with the overall financial affairs of the college through coordination with the university office regarding the provision of all the college’s needs through completing purchase transactions, organizing approved records, and completing monthly payrolls for the salaries of associates, and Delegations, lectures, bonuses, control and audit procedures, and so on.

Legal Affairs Division
This unit is concerned with legal affairs related to the overall relations between the college and state departments through its legal orientation, in addition to the procedures for college members, such as investigative councils, disciplinary committees, guarantees, agencies, and pledges for members in accordance with regulations and legal norms.

Audit Division
It undertakes the task of auditing all transactions and supervising accounts, in addition to supervising the warehouses.

Inventory Division

Maintaining and taking care of records related to the entry and exit of materials.
Taking care of the warehouse control cards to know the expenses and remaining materials.
Entering materials purchased from local markets into the unit through entry records.
Preserve materials by placing them in their own rooms.
Deleting consumer items at the end of the financial year.
