A study in the College of Agriculture, University of Karbala discussing the biological evaluation of the commercial fungicide Naturalis-L, some nanocomposites and pesticides of plant origin in the control of rusty red flour beetles Tribolium castaneum under laboratory conditions.

It included a master’s thesis in the Department of Plant Protection entitled (Biological evaluation of the biocidal Naturalis-L and some nanocomposites, and mides of plant origin in the control of rusty red flour beetles Tribolium castaneum (Herbst) (Coleoptera: Tenebrionidae) under laboratory conditions) for the student ( Nour Jasib Habib) has four chapters, which are the introduction, review of sources, materials and working methods, results and discussion.
The study aimed to test the effect of the commercial preparation of B.bassiana fungus and pesticides of plant origin Tondexir, Palizin and nanocomposites silicon oxide, Zinc oxide, aluminum oxide on the percentages of complete and incomplete roles of rusty red flour beetles, as well as testing the attractive and repellent effect of nanocomposites. The study also discussed the effect of the commercial fungicide preparation, silicon oxide nanocomposite and the pesticide Palizin of plant origin on the reproductive ability of flour beetles.
The study found the efficiency of both nanocomposites, pesticides of plant origin and a commercial fungicide in controlling red flour beetles.
The letter was approved with distinction.
