Education:-
BSc Degree at “College of Agriculture“, University of Bagdad, Iraq 1970 – 1974.
Diploma Degree. A course for qualification on Economics Management and Technology of fruit growing from 16th may 1978 to 16th November 1978 “Institute of Economy”, Sofia ,Bulgaria.
A study for a PhD Degree at “school of Biological Science”, University of Wales, N Wales, Bangor, UK under the supervision of Professor G R Sagar,1987.
Financial Resources for New Businesses. A three- month course designed and run by “North West College” , Wembley Park, London, UK from April 1999 to June 1999.
ICT Course organized and run by “North West College“, Wembley Park, London, UK from September 2000 to December 2000.
Qualifications:-
1- BSc in Plant Production/Horticulture Science.
2- PhD in Plant Biology and Plant propagation.
3- Field and laboratory experiences in propagating and marketing of plants using the most effective technique i.e. “Tissue Culture”.
4- Diploma in the Economics, Management and Technology of fruit growing.
5- Involvement in Management, Trading and Marketing of Food.
6- Experience and Knowledge in using Computer’s programs and Internet facilities.
Professional experience:-
Agricultural Engineer, I worked as a consultant in the fields and different departments of “General Directorate of Agriculture in Najaf”, Ministry of Agriculture, Iraq from June 1976 to March 1982. A substantial , field and office experiences in production,
Management and marketing of crops, fruits and vegetables have been developed. Designing gardens for towns and cities has also been practiced.
Following my PhD study, I worked as a researcher in propagation of ornamental plants at Pe-n-y ffriedd Field station, University of Wales, N Wales, Bangor, UK from July 1987 to May 1991.
Since 1991 a various links, contacts and occasional visits have been maintained with “Plant Technology Ltd” (Micro propagation Systems), Dublin Road, Enniscorthy, Ireland. These efforts aimed at updating my knowledge and experience in propagating of plant by Tissue Culture Technique (plant Micro propagation). My further aim and interest are to apply this technique in a commercial venture.
In 1999, I taught a “Biology” coirse to A Level students in the “Islamic College for Advance Studies”, Willesden, London, UK.
Private tuition in Biology has, and is still, been offered to students.
Personal attempts and practical involvement in trade and marketing of food have also been made since May 1991. From June 1997 to June 2001, I worked as a Sales Manager for “Sama Ltd, Bridge Road, Southolt, Middlesex, UK. The company is mainly dealing with food import/export and distribution particularly in UK and Europe. A commercial experience in management, trading and marketing of food has been learnt.
Experience and Knowledge in beekeeping, honey production and Apiary management since 2004.
