As part of the scientific cooperation and academic exchange among Iraqi universities, Dr. Harith Mahmoud Aziz Al-Tamimi, Associate Professor and Head of the Department of Horticulture and Landscape Plant at the College of Agriculture, University of Kerbala, participated as a member of the PhD dissertation committee in the Department of Horticulture and Landscape Plant at the College of Agricultural Engineering Sciences, University of Baghdad.
The committee convened to discuss the PhD dissertation entitled:
“Effect of Benzyladenine Foliar Spray, Organic Fertilizer Application, and Thinning on Growth and Yield of Date Palm (cv. Medjool),”
submitted by the candidate Hisham Abdul Mansour Hamad.
The committee chair expressed sincere appreciation to Dr. Harith Mahmoud for his participation, emphasizing the importance of such collaborations among Iraqi universities in advancing scientific research.
It is worth noting that the University of Karbala consistently supports its faculty members in participating in scientific and research activities both inside and outside Iraq, reflecting the university’s strong academic standing and commitment to research excellence.
