Under the direction of the Dean of the College of Agriculture and with the direct supervision of the Head of the Department of Animal Production, Prof. Dr. Abbas Salem Hussein, the department, in cooperation with Al-Hafiz Feed Production Company, carried out maintenance work on the feed grinder of the animal field. This initiative comes within the framework of supporting the practical aspect and strengthening the educational infrastructure of the college.
The maintenance work aims to prepare the necessary requirements for conducting practical lessons in animal nutrition, particularly with regard to grinding and mixing feed components for undergraduate and postgraduate students. This contributes to training them on the scientific principles of calculating and mixing feed ingredients according to different nutritional requirements.
This step also falls within the department’s efforts to develop students’ practical skills and enable them to manufacture feed for the animals and poultry of the animal field, relying on available resources and self-efforts, reflecting the college’s commitment to advancing the scientific and practical level of its students.
