The Department of Animal Production organized a seminar on the latest developments of Covid 19. The speakers are Dr. Haydar J. Witwit. / Scripps Research Institute/USA and Dr. Roaa S. Khafaji. / National University/ USA as well as Dr. Sura Safi who is a faculty member at the College of Agriculture. The session discussed the latest developments in COVID-19 and the methods of its transmission, as well as the symptoms and signs of the disease, its most important complications, methods of diagnosis used, the latest developments in treatment and methods of prevention at the level of institutions and individuals. The course included a detailed discussion of the types of vaccines available, in addition to their efficacy and side effects. The session also included a set of important questions asked by the faculty professors about the genetic mutations of SARS-CoV-2 and the diversity of disease symptoms in different categories of infected people.
