Under the direction of the Dean of the College of Agriculture, Prof. Dr. Thamer Karim Khudair Al-Janabi, and under the supervision of the Head of the Plant Protection Department, Prof. Dr. Yasser Nasser Hussain Al-Hamiri, the Chairman and a number of members of the scientific committee in the department visited the sites for the implementation of experiments of master’s student Alaa Naim in Ghamas sub-district In the governorate of Qadisiyah, for the subject of his study entitled “Integration between chemical and biological pesticides in controlling scale insects on date palms.” The committee reviewed the student’s research studies, the pesticides used and the different methods of treating the pesticide in the farms and orchards of the district, with luck to the student to complete his studies completely.
