Under the patronage of the Dean of the College of Agriculture, Prof. Dr. Thamer Karim Khudair Al-Janabi, and under the supervision of the Head of the Plant Protection Department, Assistant Professor Dr. Ali Abdul-Hussein, and within the activities of the cultural season in the Plant Protection Department for the academic year 2021-2022, Prof. Dr. Yasser Nasser Hussain delivered a seminar entitled “Toxins Mycotoxins – The Hidden Danger, in which he reviewed the concept of mycotoxins, the most important mycotoxin-producing fungi, the difference between mycotoxins and toxic fungi, as well as the dangers of mycotoxins to humans and animals, the history of the emergence of mycotoxins and the close relationship between cancer and mycotoxins. The episode also touched on the most important mycotoxins. The seminar was attended by a group of faculty members and graduate students.
