University of Karbala establishes 1600 limits for use in agricultural research

A team from the College of Agriculture at the University of Karbala demarcated the boundaries of the land allocated for the college’s farms, which has an area of 1,600 dunums.

The Dean of the College, Dr. Sabah Ghazi Sharif, said, “The University of Karbala made unremitting efforts to obtain this space from the Ministry of Agriculture, and then allocated it by the local government in Karbala Governorate.”

Sharif added, “It is hoped that the land allocated to the College of Agriculture will be used to conduct scientific tests and agricultural research and train students in practical aspects.”

He pointed out that the college seeks, with direct support from the university presidency, to advance the scientific and academic reality.
