The College of Agriculture at the University of Kerbala organized a scientific seminar titled “Applications of Reverse Osmosis and Water Treatment in Agriculture and Irrigation” presented by master’s student Hassan Diaa Baqir under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Raja Ghazi Abdul Mohsen.

The seminar, attended by postgraduate students, addressed several key topics, including the history of reverse osmosis, the concept of osmosis, the difference between reverse and natural osmosis, the benefits of reverse osmosis, and its use in water purification and desalination for agriculture.

The student highlighted that the study aims to explore the role of reverse osmosis in agriculture, emphasizing its importance in improving water use efficiency, reducing pressure on freshwater resources, and positioning it as an effective and practical option for the future.
