The Governor of Holy Karbala, Engineer Nassif Jassim Al-Khattabi, met with the President of the University of Kerbala, Dr. Sabah Wajid Al-Kuraity, the Dean of the College of Agriculture, Dr. Ali Abdul-Hussein Kareem, and the college council, in the presence of Provincial Council member Dr. Mohsen Al-Kinani and the Dean of the College of Computer Science and Information Technology, Dr. Mowaffaq Kazem Mohsen.

At the beginning of the meeting, the university president and attendees extended their congratulations and best wishes to the governor on the occasion of Holy Karbala Governorate Day, which coincides with the birth anniversary of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him) on the 3rd of Sha’ban, as well as with the blessed births of the noble progeny of the Prophet (peace be upon them) in the month of Sha’ban.
This meeting marks the governor’s first within the framework of implementing the governorate’s strategic plan, which was recently announced in two phases: the first to be completed by 2030 and the second by 2050. The discussion also covered ways in which the University of Kerbala and the College of Agriculture can contribute to executing this plan.
