Under the direction of the Dean of the College of Agriculture, Prof. Dr. Ali Abdul-Hussein Karim, and the supervision of the Head of the Food Science Department, Prof. Dr. Abdul-Zahra Jabbar Ali, the College of Agriculture at the University of Kerbala organized a scientific visit to Al-Waha Beverage and Water Company.
A group of students, along with several faculty members, participated in the visit.
The visit aimed to introduce students to the stages of soft drink production and water purification by observing the company’s production processes and the modern technologies used in manufacturing.
This visit is part of the college’s series of field activities designed to enhance students’ practical experience and bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and real-world applications, preparing them to keep up with advancements in the agricultural and food industries.
It is worth noting that the College of Agriculture at the University of Kerbala continues to organize scientific and field activities to develop students’ skills and prepare them as qualified professionals who can contribute to the growth of the agricultural and food industries in Iraq.
