
Under the patronage of the Dean of the College of Agriculture, Dr. Ali Abdul-Hussein Karim, and under the direct supervision of the Head of the Department of Horticulture and Landscape Engineering, Dr. Harith Mahmoud Aziz, the department organized a discussion seminar for Master’s student Rafah Sobeih Hashoush, titled “The Role of Humic Acid and the Growth Regulator CPPU in the Growth of Some Citrus Rootstocks.”
In her research presentation, the student highlighted the importance of using humic acid to improve the growth and performance of promising citrus rootstocks in Karbala Province.
The seminar was attended by a number of specialized professors and graduate students, who enriched the session with their scientific insights and questions, helping to clarify key research aspects.
At the conclusion of the seminar, the supervising committee provided valuable feedback and commended the student’s efforts in presenting her research. They emphasized the importance of such studies in supporting the agricultural sector and promoting environmental sustainability.
