
As part of the cultural season activities at the University of Kerbala and under the patronage of the Dean of the College of Agriculture, Assistant Professor Dr. Ali Abdul-Hussein Kareem, and the supervision of Professor Dr. Hamid Abdul-Khashan, a scientific discussion seminar titled “The Role of Foliar Spraying with Humic Acid in Some Productivity Indicators of Safflower Crop” was held, presented by undergraduate student Ahmed Abdul-Razzaq Abdul-Ridha.
The seminar covered an overview of the safflower crop and the importance of using organic and bio-fertilizers, such as humic acid, to enhance plant growth and productivity.
The student explained that the study aimed to evaluate the impact of foliar application of humic acid on plant growth and yield, providing details on the measurement methods used for key traits and their effect on crop production.
This seminar is part of the college’s ongoing efforts to support scientific research and encourage students to conduct studies that contribute to the advancement of the agricultural sector and improved productivity.
