Under the guidance of the Dean of the College of Agriculture, Professor Dr. Ali Abdul-Hussein Kareem, and with direct supervision from the Head of the Plant Protection Department, Professor Dr. Yasser Nasser Hussein, the College of Agriculture organized a campaign to rehabilitate and maintain the greenhouses associated with the department.
This initiative was prompted by a rainy day that affected the condition of the greenhouses, requiring immediate action to ensure the continuity of scientific and practical activities for students.
The campaign was carried out with active participation from students of the department and maintenance staff, under the direct supervision of the teaching staff. The work focused on repairing damaged plastic structures, cleaning the greenhouses, and preparing them for upcoming agricultural experiments.
These efforts aim to enhance the readiness of the greenhouses for use in research and scientific experiments, as well as to teach students how to handle environmental challenges and maintain agricultural facilities under various weather conditions.
