The College of Agriculture at Kerbala University received Mr. Iyad Al-Asadi, the Director of Al-Asfiyah Charity and Cultural Foundation, on Sunday. The visit aimed to enhance mutual cooperation between the foundation and the college in areas of community service support and provision.
Mr. Al-Asadi was welcomed by Prof. Dr. Ali Abdul Hussein Karim, the Dean of the College, along with several faculty members. During the meeting, important social issues were discussed, and ways of collaboration to implement projects aimed at supporting needy groups were explored.
During the visit, Mr. Iyad Al-Asadi presented a recognition plaque to Prof. Dr. Ali Abdul Hussein Karim in appreciation of the college’s efforts in providing charitable services and its role in enhancing social solidarity within the community. In return, the Dean of the College awarded a certificate of thanks and appreciation to Mr. Iyad Al-Asadi, recognizing the foundation’s role in supporting charitable projects targeting various segments of society.
At the end of the visit, both parties expressed the importance of continuing such initiatives, which contribute to raising awareness among generations and fortifying the community against intellectual and social challenges.
