College of Agriculture at the University of Kerbala Conducts Practical Lesson in Forage and Pasture Crops

Under the guidance of the Dean of the College of Agriculture, Professor Dr. Ali Abdul-Hussein Kareem, and under the supervision of the Head of the Department of Field Crops, Assistant Professor Dr. Ali Nadhim Farhoud, the Department of Field Crops conducted a practical lesson in the subject of Forage and Pasture Crops.

The practical session was supervised by Assistant Lecturer Mohammed Hussein Alwan and included the following activities:

  1. Preparing the field and dividing it into experimental units
  2. Preparing seedbeds for seasonal forage crops
  3. A detailed explanation of the methods used to divide experimental units

This activity comes as part of the practical implementation of the academic curriculum adopted by the College of Agriculture at the University of Kerbala. It aims to enhance students’ practical skills and bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and field practice.

During the session, students were trained in proper scientific methods for field preparation and division, contributing to the development of their practical skills in the cultivation of forage crops.
