The College of Agriculture at the University of Karbala is looking into setting up a joint scientific cooperation with the College of Agriculture at the University of Basra

The Deanship of the College of Agriculture at the University of Karbala believes in the importance of building bridges of joint scientific cooperation between the colleges of agriculture in the various universities of Iraq and under the direct guidance of the Dean of the College, Prof. Dr. Thamer Karim Khudair Al-Janabi. The Associate Dean for Scientific Affairs and Graduate Studies visited Prof. Dr. Sabah Ghazi Sharif and Mr. Head of the Department Horticulture and Garden Engineering Dr. Kazem Muhammad Abdullah, on Tuesday, the second of March 2021, Department of Horticulture and Garden Engineering at the College of Agriculture – University of Basra. During the visit, a mechanism for joint cooperation in the field of exchanging scientific experiences and in the field of various agricultural research took place during the visit. The scientific department and a good group of faculty members in the department in various disciplines in horticultural science and garden engineering, as well as visiting some research facilities of the College of Agriculture and some postgraduate students’ research to find out some aspects of managing these facilities and exchange future experiences between the two departments.
