The instructor at the College of Agriculture, Dr. Ahmed Zurfi, published a research article in his field of specialization in the Journal of Energy Storage – Elsevier, a reputable international journal in the first quartile with an impact factor of 6.583, CiteScore 6.0 and IF Clarivate 3.761. The research was in cooperation with a research team from the University of Arkansas. The article discussed a new method for calculating energy loss in smart loads equipped with batteries as energy buffer.
