A delegation from the College of Agriculture visits Fadak farm

A delegation from the College of Agriculture at the University of Karbala, represented by the Dean of the College, Prof. Dr. Thamer Karim Khudair Al-Janabi, the Associate Dean for Scientific Affairs and Graduate Studies, Prof. Dr. Sabah Ghazi Sharif, and a good group of faculty members in the departments of our scientific college visited the delegation of the College of Agriculture and Forestry at the University of Mosul, represented by Prof. Dr. Moaz Abdullah Najm Al-Hajjar and the teacher Aman Adel Mawloud to the Fadak palm farm belonging to the Hussainiya Holy Shrine. The two delegations were received by the farm manager, Mr. Fayez Issa Abu Al-Ma’ali and the engineering, technical and administrative cadres. The visit included informing the two delegations of the most important techniques in palm cultivation and the mechanism of dealing with Palm shoots and ways to take care of them with the latest scientific means, especially those rare and important varieties. At the end of the visit, it was agreed to continue scientific cooperation between the farm administration and the agricultural colleges at the University of Karbala and the University of Mosul and open broad horizons for training engineering cadres through the establishment of training courses and workshops and the increase of scientific and practical experience .
