On 08/24/2022, the College of Agriculture, Karbala University witnessed the discussion of a master’s thesis tagged (the effect of source and level of phosphate fertilizer and spraying with Gujarat extract on some indicators of growth and yield of sunflower) by Hadeel Hamza Ali from the Department of Field Crops.
The researcher demonstrated the importance of using phosphate fertilizers with different source and level of addition in feeding sunflower plants, as well as the necessity of spraying with plant extracts, especially Gujarat extract, because it contains effective compounds that significantly contributed to the positive effect on growth, yield and quality characteristics of sunflower plants, as well as reducing the use of chemical fertilizers in large quantities. high, which leads to environmental pollution.
