The College of Agriculture at the University of Karbala organized a scientific symposium on how to develop curricula and integrate entrepreneurship and important skills in the field of climate-smart agriculture, with the participation of a number of professors and graduate and undergraduate students.
The symposium aimed to learn how to help graduates establish and maintain a company or private projects in the field of climate-smart agriculture.
The symposium comes within the Orange Knowledge Program to build capabilities for the network of water experts and integrated entrepreneurship in Iraq, which is managed by the Dutch organization NOVAK.
The symposium recommended the need to work with decision makers to develop the current curricula and add workshops to ensure training in the skills and experiences needed by the company or project owner.
