The College of Agriculture at the University of Karbala organized a scientific seminar on the use of nanopesticides in combating weeds for the doctoral graduate student, Amir Hamza Obaid, under the supervision of Professor Dr. Abbas Ali Al-Amiri, in the presence of the Head of the Field Crops Department, along with a good group of faculty members in some scientific departments, and in the presence of graduate students. The scientific seminar included a group of topics, the most important of which was identifying the problems caused by the jungle and its resistance to regular pesticides, as well as identifying methods for preparing nanoparticles and methods for loading pesticides on nanoparticles and their importance in eliminating the jungle. A number of special studies in this field were also discussed.
