The Library of the College of Agriculture at the University of Karbala is one of the important and necessary academic formations affiliated with the group of libraries that the Presidency of the University of Karbala and the Deanship of the College are keen to provide to serve students of science and knowledge, faculty members and researchers with all scientific and cognitive references and in all specializations of agricultural sciences. The library is one of the radiant academic centers. With agricultural sciences and scientific references that serve scientific creativity, whether through traditional or electronic methods, the electronic library provides a huge amount of information rich in local and international science and research.
The Deanship of the College of Agriculture and Library Administration always aims to respond to the requirements and educational needs of science students, whether primary or postgraduate students, from inside and outside the University of Karbala, as well as faculty members and their educational and research needs related to the various agricultural sciences.
In addition, the Deanship of the College of Agriculture and those responsible for managing the library are keen to provide a library with an environment as conducive as possible for scientific research and academic study, to achieve the goal of becoming a model library rich in important vital resources in multiple scientific specializations, and a high commitment to protecting intellectual freedom and preserving and organizing the institution’s records. Providing advanced reference services, and continuing participation in reviewing the mechanism for indexing bibliographic books at the regional and national levels.
