The Animal Production Department organized a symposium to update and develop the department’s mission and vision within the academic accreditation program. Under the patronage of the Dean of the College of Agriculture, the respected Professor Dr. Sabah Ghazi Sharif, and within the modern trends in developing higher education institutions and to ensure the quality of university education in the departments of the College of Agriculture at the University of Karbala to record the highest levels of quality standards, the Deanship of the College of Agriculture took the initiative to successively update the visions, mission and goals of its scientific departments. Department of Animal Production, under the supervision of the Head of the Department, Assistant Professor Dr. Muhannad Fadl Hussein, the respected Scientific workshop to update the vision, mission, and goals of the Department of Animal Production on Wednesday, the sixth of March 2024, in the Nakheel Hall, in which both Professor Dr. Zainab Aliwi Muhammad and Assistant Professor Dr. Salah Mahdi Kati’ were present. In the presence of all members of the Committee for Updating the Vision, Mission and Goals in the Animal Production Department, which includes the representative of the Federation of Agricultural Associations in the Holy City of Karbala, the respected Mr. Hani Marza Suhail, the representative of the Karbala Poultry Association, the respected agricultural engineer Haider Abbas Muhammad, the representative of the veterinary hospital, the respected Dr. Abbas Ali Khudair, and the representative of the Husseiniyah Agriculture Division, the respected engineer. Respected agriculturalist Murtada Abbas Hamad. The committee discussed the proposed proposals and approved the vision, mission and goals that will be implemented for the coming years to achieve the standards of academic accreditation, God Almighty willing, in the shortest period.
