The Plant Protection Department at the College of Agriculture at the University of Karbala held a meeting about updating the mission, vision and goals of the Plant Protection Department at the College of Agriculture headed by the Head of the Department, Assistant Professor Dr. Ali Abdul Hussein Karim. Committee membership from inside and outside the college/Karbala Agriculture Directorate and the Federation of Agricultural Associations as well as the Engineers Union Agriculturalists. The committee addressed all the proposals and conditions that must be implemented in order to raise the scientific level of graduates of the Plant Protection Department. It also presented proposals for the advancement of the agricultural situation and the management of agricultural pests in the governorate. The Dean of the College praised the efforts made by the members to advance the scientific, academic and research reality of the college.
