The Deanship of the College of Agriculture at the University of Karbala and all its members extends great sadness and sympathy to the Iraqi people and the entire Islamic nation on the anniversary of the martyrdom of the Commander of the Faithful, the Master of the Eloquents, Imam Ali bin Abi Talib, peace be upon him.
Christian thinker George Jardak says: No end was worthy of Ali, peace be upon him, other than this end. It is not appropriate for him to betray in a war, or to be killed in an individual duel. Prayer alone is the ideal time for the ascension of his pure soul, and prostration is the ideal moment, because it is the highest level of servitude and the highest nights of worship. Destiny is the ideal date that befits Ali bin Abi Talib, peace be upon him. As for the place, there is no better place than the houses of God.
