The thesis, titled “The Role of Azotobacter Bacteria and Nitrogen Fertilizer Sprays in the Growth and Yield of Two Varieties of Hot Pepper and the Accumulation of Capsaicin,” was presented by student Sura Salam Farhan Jasim in three chapters: introduction, literature review, materials and methods, results, and discussion under the supervision of Dr. Jamal Ahmed Abbas and with the participation of Dr. Abbas Ali Hussein, Dr. Sabah Abd-Felayeh, and under the supervision of Dr. Khalid Abdul Muttalib, in the presence of faculty members of the College of Agriculture, postgraduate students, and researchers. The thesis aims to:
1- Study the impact of adding organic fertilizers (Azotobacter bacteria) and nitrogen fertilizer sprays (urea) and their interaction on the growth, yield, and fruit quality, especially the capsaicin content.
2- Study the effect of two hybrids of hot pepper (Hyffa, Barbarian) on growth, yield, and some quality indicators of fruits, especially capsaicin accumulation.
