Dr. Ali Abdul-Hussein Kareem and Dr. Aqeel Nazzal Barbar from the Plant Protection Department participated in the 4th International and 18th Local Conference of Agricultural Sciences at Ferdowsi University in Iran from September 10-12, 2024. They presented a research paper titled “The Manufacture of a New Homemade Particle Delivery System to Bombard DNA Plasmids into Plant Tissues Using Particles as an Alternative to Gold Particles,” which was an innovative study on developing a new system for delivering targeted genes into various plants. This participation provided an important platform for exchanging expertise and knowledge among researchers worldwide and demonstrated the status of Iraqi researchers in the international scientific community.
