As part of the scientific collaboration between Iraqi universities, Assistant Professor Dr. Ali Abdul-Hussein Karim participated in the committee for the dissertation defense of Ph.D. candidate Amal Shukheir Younis. Her dissertation, titled:
“Evaluation of the Efficiency of Certain Pathogenic Fungi, Plant Extracts, and Biologically Synthesized Silver Nanoparticles in Controlling the Black Bean Aphid Aphis fabae in Laboratory and Field Settings”
was defended in the Department of Plant Protection, College of Agriculture, University of Kufa, on Wednesday, November 13, 2024. The defense was successfully conducted, and the dissertation was awarded an “Excellent” grade.
