The College of Agriculture, at the University of Kerbala, organized a guidance seminar with first-year students and all departments under the title (University Student Behavior and Student Discipline Instructions in Higher Education Institutions). It was held in the Palm Hall at ten o’clock in the morning on Sunday, November 24, 2024, and was delivered by Assistant Lecturer Faiza Hamad Hussein, Mrs. Amal Hussein Jabbar, and Mrs. Hanin Hamid Naji.

The seminar aimed to: 1. Introduce students to the Guidance Unit and the services that the unit can provide them with in terms of guidance and psychology, as well as introduce them to their guidance supervisors and each department. 2- Introducing them to the student discipline instructions in the institutions of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research No. 160 of 2007, such as adhering to modest dress, not harming the reputation of the Ministry or its institutions, avoiding anything that conflicts with university behavior, and respecting the teaching staff, employees and workers. Refraining from any act that disrupts the order and tranquility of the university campus, preserving the supplies and property of the university, avoiding propaganda for any party or forming organizations that would deepen division. Not harming the relationship of fellowship between students, whether by word or deed. 3- The penalties that will be imposed on the student if he commits violations were explained, and what these penalties are, according to the violation, his rights and duties.
