The College of Agriculture at the University of Kerbala organized an advisory seminar for undergraduate and postgraduate students entitled (Reflective Thinking and Its Relationship to Psychological and Social Health) which was held in the Palm Hall at 12:30 pm on Sunday, November 24, 2024, and was delivered by Assistant Professor Haider Qasim Baqer, Lecturer Dr. Anwar Diaa Mahdi, and Assistant Lecturer Faiza Hamad Hussein.

The seminar addressed the following: What is reflective thinking and what is the impact of reflective thinking on student education, types of reflective thinking and its levels, positive thinking and its importance and its relationship to mental health, and how we practice positive thinking to reap its benefits in the long term. Positive thinking is a powerful tool for improving mental and physical health by developing this skill and applying it in daily life. It does not mean ignoring difficulties, but rather the ability to see opportunities within challenges.
