in the presence of a good group of faculty members in some scientific departments and in the presence of postgraduate students. The scientific seminar included a set of axes that included an introduction describing the yellow corn crop and its economic importance, the importance of mineral fertilizers and their multiple uses, in addition to their effective role in increasing agricultural production and improving the quality of crops in terms of quantity and quality, and the extent of the need to reduce the use of mineral fertilizers by moving towards organic supplements that contribute to rationalizing the use of manufactured chemical fertilizers. The student mentioned the aim of the study, which is to study the effect of spraying with silicon and to know the best concentration of it on the growth and crown of yellow corn and to study the interaction between the study factors and their effect on the growth and productivity of yellow corn in addition to studying the possibility of reducing the fertilizer recommendations (N), (P) and (K) by using humic acids and spraying silicon. He also mentioned the method of measuring some of the characteristics of the study and explained the extent of its effect on the production of the yellow corn crop.
