The Continuing Education Division at the College of Agriculture, University of Karbala, organized a training course titled “Pathogenic Fungi of Insects”, conducted by Assistant Lecturer Maryam Hussein Jafat, Assistant Lecturer Zahraa Jawad Kazem, and Engineer Hanin Hameed Naji.
The course aimed to enhance the knowledge of students and faculty members about fungi used in biological pest control. It covered the importance of these fungi, their habitats, and their role in eco-friendly and plant-friendly biological control.
The target audience for the course included students and faculty members.
