Dr. Yaser Nasser Hussein, the Head of the Department of Plant Protection, held a meeting with the faculty members in the presence of Dr. Ali Abdul Hussein Karim, the Dean of the College. Several topics related to the department’s activities in preparation for the second semester were discussed. Dr. Yaser emphasized the importance of expanding scientific activities, such as the cultural season, opening new horizons, and strengthening communication with all agricultural sectors in the community. He also encouraged faculty members to form research and field teams and urged students to engage in continuous fieldwork and practical activities to gain scientific and practical experience.
At the end of the meeting, the faculty members congratulated Dr. Ali Abdul Hussein Karim on his appointment as Dean, and Dr. Yaser Nasser Hussein on his appointment as Head of the Department of Plant Protection.
