Today, Thursday, the President of the University of Karbala visited the College of Agriculture, where he met with the Dean of the College, several faculty members, and students.
The visit included a field tour of the various departments of the college to review the progress of the educational process and ongoing research projects. He also discussed ways to improve the college’s infrastructure and enhance collaboration between the university and local agricultural institutions.
During the meeting, the university president emphasized the importance of developing academic programs to align with labor market needs. He praised the efforts made in advancing the agricultural sector through the scientific research conducted by the college.
For his part, the Dean of the College of Agriculture provided a detailed explanation of the challenges facing the college and the future plans aimed at improving the quality of education and scientific research.
At the end of the visit, the university president called for concerted efforts to promote innovation and development in the agricultural field, stressing the importance of providing an integrated educational environment that contributes to enhancing the competence of students and graduates.
