The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research has granted institutional accreditation to the University of Kerbala, along with several other Iraqi universities.
This accreditation was awarded after the university successfully met strategic standards required for educational institutions, including governance and administration, financial and material resources, faculty members, students, scientific research, community service, and curriculum development.
Minister of Higher Education, Dr. Naim Al-Aboudi, emphasized the commitment of universities to upholding quality standards and accreditation requirements, ensuring the fulfillment of their educational mission and aligning with global academic trends.
In response, the President of the University of Kerbala, Prof. Dr. Sabah Wajid Ali, expressed appreciation for the ministry’s focus on educational quality and institutional performance in line with developmental goals and global standards.
He also highlighted that achieving institutional accreditation was the result of dedicated efforts by the university’s staff, who worked as a unified team to enhance the educational environment and improve academic quality
