As part of the weekly activities of the Department of Plant Protection, College of Agriculture, University of Kerbala, a scientific seminar was presented by Prof. Dr. Adnan Abdul-Jalil Lahouf on the topic:
“Strategies for Publishing in Reputable Scientific Journals and How to Increase Citation Rates and Improve the H-Index.”
The seminar aimed to guide researchers on:
Selecting appropriate journals within their field of specialization.
Increasing citations of scientific research, aligning with the priorities set by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research to enhance the quality, ranking, and impact of academic publications.
Identifying predatory and commercial journals and raising awareness about publishing in reputable scientific journals to ensure academic integrity and credibility.
