Under the guidance of the Dean of the College of Agriculture, Dr. Ali Abdul-Hussein Kareem, and the supervision of the Head of the Department of Food Science, Dr. Abdul-Zahra Jabar Ali, the College of Agriculture at the University of Karbala organized a scientific visit to the Sulaymaniyah Dairy and Food Products Company. A group of first-year students participated in the visit, along with faculty members, including Dr. Ahmed Abdul-Ameer and Assistant Lecturer Rokia Shomakhi Jaber.
The visit aimed to familiarize students with the various stages of dairy production, as well as the packaging and processing methods for food products. This visit was part of a series of field activities organized by the college to enhance the practical knowledge of its students and help them keep up with the latest developments in the agricultural and food sectors.
This visit is part of the ongoing efforts by the College of Agriculture to equip its students with the necessary practical knowledge, contributing to the preparation of specialized professionals capable of advancing the food and agricultural industries in Iraq.
