As part of its commitment to environmental awareness and the development of green spaces within the university campus, the College of Agriculture at the University of Kerbala organized a training workshop titled “University Gardens and How to Establish Them.”
The workshop was led by Dr. Sabah Abdul Faleh, Dr. Zainab Nouri Saleh, and Mr. Razzaq Owaiz Aidan, who covered several key topics, including:
The importance of university gardens and their role in enhancing the educational environment.
The fundamentals of garden design and creation, considering available space.
Selection of suitable plants for the local environment.
The workshop targeted college students, faculty members, and individuals interested in environmental and landscape design.
