The College of Agriculture at the University of Kerbala celebrated today the conclusion of the football championship, which took place between students of the Department of Field Crops and the Department of Animal Production. The final match ended with an impressive victory for the Animal Production team.
The tournament saw wide participation from students and faculty members, with both teams demonstrating high sportsmanship and fair competition throughout the championship.
The final match was attended by the Dean of the College, Assistant Prof. Dr. Ali Abdul-Hussein Karim, the Head of the Department of Animal Production, Dr. Muhannad Fadhel Hussein, and the Head of the Department of Field Crops, Dr. Ali Nazim Farhoud, along with several professors and students.
In his closing speech, the Dean of the College praised the efforts of the students and organizers, emphasizing the importance of sports activities in fostering teamwork and leadership skills among students. He also congratulated the winning team and wished all participants continued success and progress.
For his part, the Head of the Department of Animal Production expressed his joy at this achievement, highlighting that the victory was the result of teamwork and dedication displayed by the students.
