The College of Agriculture at the University of Kerbala has achieved remarkable scientific and research accomplishments over the past two years. It secured third place in last year’s Scientific Innovations Exhibition and advanced to second place this year, reflecting its ongoing efforts to support scientific research and innovation.
As part of its commitment to recognizing outstanding academic contributions, the President of the University of Kerbala, Prof. Dr. Sabah Wajid Ali, honored Prof. Dr. Adnan Abdul-Jaleel, Prof. Dr. Aqeel Nizar Barir, and Assistant Prof. Dr. Kadam Mohammed Abdullah Al-Fatlawi for achieving the highest H-Index in scientific research. Their significant contributions have enriched academic progress and enhanced the college’s reputation locally and internationally.
Additionally, the “Science Day Award” for the best patents was granted to Prof. Dr. Aqeel Nizar Barir and Assistant Prof. Dr. Ali Abdul-Hussein Karim in recognition of their outstanding efforts in scientific innovations that contribute to the development of the agricultural and environmental sectors.
The Dean of the College, Dr. Ali Abdul-Hussein Karim, expressed his pride in these achievements, emphasizing that such accomplishments result from the continuous efforts of the college, its departments, and its faculty in supporting research and innovation.
