Under the direction of the Dean of the College of Agriculture, Prof. Dr. Ali Abdul-Hussein Karim, and the supervision of the Head of the Animal Production Department, Prof. Dr. Muhannad Fadhel Hussein, the College of Agriculture at the University of Karbala organized a scientific field visit to buffalo farms in the province.
A group of students, along with several faculty members, participated in the visit.
This visit is part of the college’s field scientific activities aimed at enhancing students’ practical experience and connecting theoretical knowledge with real-world applications, helping to prepare them for modern advancements in the agricultural sector.
During the visit, participants explored the latest methods in buffalo farming and field management, as well as discussed the challenges facing this sector and potential solutions for its development.
It is worth noting that the College of Agriculture at the University of Kerbala continues to organize scientific and field activities designed to develop students’ skills and prepare them as qualified professionals to contribute to the growth of Iraq’s agricultural sector.
