
Under the guidance of the Dean of the College of Agriculture, Assistant Professor Dr. Ali Abdul-Hussein Karim, and with direct supervision from the Head of the Horticulture and Landscape Plant Department, Dr. Harith Mahmoud Aziz, a delegation of faculty members and students from the College of Agriculture at the University of Kerbala conducted a field visit to the nursery of the Holy Shrine of Imam Hussein. This visit was part of an academic program aimed at enhancing the practical knowledge of students.
The visit aimed to introduce students to medicinal plants and their cultivation methods, as well as to familiarize them with the latest technologies used in plant propagation. The students expressed their admiration for the remarkable advancements in agriculture they witnessed during the visit, emphasizing the importance of such field trips in strengthening their practical knowledge and linking it to the theoretical concepts they study at the college.
At the end of the visit, the College of Agriculture administration extended its gratitude and appreciation to the management of the Holy Shrine Nursery for their warm reception and fruitful cooperation, hoping for further collaboration in the future to support educational and research endeavors.
