Under the guidance of Assistant Professor Dr. Ali Abdul-Hussein Kareem, Dean of the College of Agriculture, and as part of fostering collaboration between academic institutions and executive bodies, a delegation from the College of Agriculture, Department of Horticulture and Landscape Engineering at the University of Kerbala conducted an official visit to the Karbala Agriculture Directorate. The delegation included a number of specialized faculty members and students from the College of Agriculture.
During the visit, discussions focused on strengthening cooperation in scientific research and knowledge exchange between the two parties. The visit also included a tour of the tomato and potato production project, managed by the Plant Production Department.
In his remarks, the Dean of the College of Agriculture emphasized the importance of such collaborations in enhancing students’ practical skills and integrating academic knowledge with real-world applications.
