In line with the directives of the respected President of the University of Kerbala, Dr. Sabah Wajid Ali, emphasizing the need to increase green spaces within the university and its colleges, and under the direct supervision of the Dean of the College of Agriculture, Dr. Ali Abdul-Hussein Kareem, and the scientific assistant, Professor Dr. Kazem Mohammed Abdullah, a planting campaign was held at the College of Agriculture.
The campaign involved planting various types of trees and ornamental plants to enhance green spaces. This initiative is part of the university’s plans to promote volunteer work and encourage students to engage with environmental care. It was also noted that the college aims to expand this campaign to include other areas beyond the college.
