Under the directives of the Dean of the College of Agriculture, Professor Dr. Ali Abdul-Hussein Kareem, and the supervision of the Head of the Field Crops Department, Assistant Professor Dr. Ali Nazem Farhoud, the College of Agriculture organized a volunteer tree-planting campaign in the college gardens. The initiative involved fourth-year students and was overseen by the teaching staff.
This campaign is part of the college’s weekly initiatives aimed at maintaining and enhancing the beauty of the gardens while ensuring their sustainability.
The primary objective of these campaigns is to foster a spirit of cooperation among students, encourage teamwork, and prepare well-trained agricultural engineers equipped with comprehensive knowledge of farming techniques. Additionally, the initiative contributes to improving the aesthetic appeal of the college gardens.
