Under the direction of the President of the University of Kerbala, Prof. Dr. Sabah Wajid Ali, and the direct supervision of the Dean of the College of Agriculture, Prof. Dr. Ali Abdul-Hussein Kareem, along with the administrative assistant and department heads, the College of Agriculture organized a tree-planting campaign across various gardens within the college. The event saw the participation of faculty members and students, aiming to raise environmental awareness and emphasize the role of afforestation in climate improvement and environmental conservation.
Organizers highlighted that this campaign aligns with the college’s commitment to promoting sustainable environmental practices and educating students on the importance of agriculture and afforestation in achieving a healthy and balanced ecosystem.
The Dean of the College of Agriculture emphasized that afforestation is a collective responsibility, requiring cooperation from everyone to maintain and sustain green spaces.
