
The College of Agriculture at the University of Kerbala organized a specialized training course on the concept of clean agriculture and its importance in horticultural production. The course was delivered by Dr. Harith Mahmoud Aziz, Dr. Abeer Qasim Kazem, and Professor Muntadhar Mohammed Raheef.
The course aimed to introduce participants to the principles and techniques of clean agriculture, which focus on reducing the use of harmful chemicals while emphasizing their application in horticultural production. Experts also presented successful models of clean agricultural practices that have proven effective in improving production and reducing environmental impact.
The Dean of the College of Agriculture, Dr. Ali Abdul-Hussein Kareem, emphasized that this course is part of the college’s ongoing efforts to raise awareness about the importance of adopting sustainable agricultural practices. He highlighted that applying clean agriculture techniques contributes to improving crop quality and increasing productivity.
