Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Ali Abdul-Hussein Karim, Dean of the College of Agriculture, and with the participation of several students and faculty members, a training course titled “Fundamentals of Civil Defense” was held at the College of Agriculture, University of Karbala.
Course Objectives
The course aimed to enhance preventive awareness and educate participants about the necessary procedures for handling emergency situations.
Course Content
The course included theoretical lectures on:
• Principles of civil defense
• How to use firefighting equipment
• First aid procedures
• General safety measures during fires and disasters
Supervision and Involvement
The training was overseen by a specialized team from the Civil Defense Directorate of Karbala Province.
